Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards Installation - 2021 Ford Bronco

Today on our 2021 Ford Bronco we have in the shop, we're getting an upgrade and the upgrade is the Aries motorized ActionTrac running boards. So you're looking at motorized running boards. Well, you're definitely looking at the top tier when it comes to putting running boards on your vehicle, but what sets these apart There's only a couple on our website, but this one you're going to have two different options. So whenever I'm just sitting here hanging around, talking to my friends, we can use the top step. It is low bearing, so we can do this. This is going to be great for putting stuff up on top of your roof, but then we have the other step, which is extremely low, which is great if you kind of struggle to get in your vehicle or you just jack up your whole entire Bronco or whatever vehicle that you have on there, and this is going to help you get in, but also load some of that cargo up just to enable your vehicle to do more. more

What's up everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, on our 2021 Ford Bronco, we're gonna be taking a look at the Westin Grate Step running boards. One thing that the Grate Steps really shine is the traction that you're gonna get. As you can see, it's not just a little plastic pad or anything, it's literally steel punched through, so this is gonna be great for kinda brushing your shoes on here before you get inside to get all the mud off, the snow. And even in those slipperier situations, there's no way you're not gonna have enough traction. This is pretty much the most traction you're gonna get out of all the different running boards. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Aries ActionTrac motorized running boards. So these are what our running boards are gonna look like installed when we have the mechanism retracted. So, our first glance what you're gonna see we have a nice durable powder-coated finish that's really gonna help these running boards do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. Now, a lot of running boards because of where they're located, underneath the vehicle here, they're gonna be subjected to a lot of road conditions, a lot of bad weather. So if you're in a state that uses salt, these things can really get eaten up pretty dang quick from that salt. However, we really shouldn't have any issues here with the ActionTrac 'cause again we have this nice durable, powder coated finish that is throughout the running boards as well as the brackets. more

Aries RidgeStep Running Boards Installation - 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video

Aries RidgeStep Running Boards Installation - 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Aries RidgeStep running boards with custom installation kit on our 2018, F-250.Now here's what Aries steps are going to look like once we have them installed. I really like them because they're a really heavy duty option for somebody who's going to be using their truck mainly for work, or if they just really need a rugged looking step that's going to hold up.Now whether you are going to be using it for work or just using it for an easier way to get in, having that step is going to make it a lot easier to get in and out of your truck, because a lot of people have noticed that these new trucks are getting taller and taller and it's definitely a lot harder to get your foot all the way up there without having that step. Now what I think really is going to set these steps apart opposed to a lot of other running boards and steps is the fact that these are 100% made out of steel. There's not a single piece of plastic on there, so we're not going to have worry about it becoming brittle, fading over time, or cracking. What else is really nice and what I like, is that the tread here is actually stamped directly into the board itself. It's not a separate piece of plastic that we had to bolt on and we have to had to worry about replacing down the line. It's one piece and these holes here are going to allow dirt, debris, water, all of that, to run through and drain out, so we have a nice solid secure place to put our foot, and make sure we have traction. On top of that these are going to be really deep running boards. more

DeeZee Oval Tube Steps Installation - 2019 Ford F-150

Hi there F-150 owners, today in our 2019 Ford F-150 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Dee Zee's Oval Tube Steps. These tube steps are going to be six inches wide with five inch wide step pads to increase the surface area, and provide a lower step to help you get inside the vehicle. This is not only going to make it easier because you're going to have a lower step to get in, but we also have traction pads here on our step pads that have raised surfaces to keep dirt, debris, and moisture out of your vehicle as you're stepping in.And also give you some more attraction as the edges here will grip on the soft rubber of your shoes. And compared to your round bars, these are going to give you a larger surface area to step on, so it's going to be more comfortable than the round bars. You're not going to have so much pressure in a small area against your foot, and having a larger surface area to step on to is also going to provide with more traction. And I liked the matte color that they have. It kind of blends in really well with the other plastic trim that's going to be on your F-150, so it looks like it's supposed to be there from the factory. more

We'll begin our test fit underneath the vehicle on the drivers side and locate the bed support rib, closest to the cab, under the truck bed. Once we've located this, we'll slide the top mount bracket into the rib and drop the stud to the two holes. You'll need to make sure you use the large hole for the inside stud. Now with that in place, we're ready to install our mounting bracket. You'll need to make sure the lower lip is facing the rear of the vehicle. We'll then line up the holes in the mounting bracket with the studs in the top bracket. We'll then use the nyloc nuts and washers to secure the mounting bracket to the top mount bracket. Now the vehicle that we are installing this on today does have an 8' bed, so we'll need to remove this U-bracket. more
